Design Elements

The shaded area becomes more versatile and not limited by the sunshade base or a center pole especially with the optional ability to rotate it by 360° around its own axis by pressing the turn-able ball bearing base – so much better use can be made of the space.

Another practical feature of the FORTANO is the automatic horizontal alignment of the sunshade when it is opened. Thanks to its high closing height and intelligent technology for synchronous extension and opening of the parasol, Fortano is highly popular in restaurant settings in particular. Also, there is no need to move tables and chairs out of the way when closing the FORTANO, because it glides elegantly above them at a height of 80 cm.

Wind Resistant

Longer, because this cantilever free-arm sunshade also stands its ground on windy days. The solid construction, flat roof and high-quality manufacturing techniques make this side-mast parasol a steadfast companion even in high winds. Measuring 300 x 300 cm, the FORTANO withstood wind speeds of up to 55 km/h in our wind tunnel test!

The frame is available in either Natural Anodized Aluminum or RAL 7016 Anthracite in a number of sizes and shapes and ensures maximum sun and rain protection as well as offering the ideal surface for advertising logos and all kinds of lettering.

Mounting Solutions

Various mounting options include in ground sleeves; plates for affixing to existing patios and decks; and steel and granite stationary bases for above ground applications.
